IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) Classes
Our IICRC- accredited water damage restoration technician (WRT) class is meant to provide basic education for water damage technicians, adjusters, public insurance adjusters and other interested parties in the water damage restoration industry. This course will explain the different types of extraction, basic containment and basic mold procedures. Our (WRT) course is designed to help teach non-restoration technicians that perform restoration and remediation work to give them a better understanding of water damage restoration, the effects and techniques for basic structure drying.
IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) Classes
Our IICRC applied microbial remediation technician (AMRT) class covers mold and sewage remediation and restoration resources to individuals engaged in the water damage restoration, property management, IEQ (Indoor Environmental Quality) investigations or other related professions. Our priorities will be placed on training people the best and most efficient way to handle mold and sewage damage remediation, to technicians and individuals who will perform these services in the field.
IICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) Classes
Our IICRC fire and smoke restoration technician (FSRT) class concentrates on the success of our students finishing the fire and smoke restoration damaged environment. Our students will learn how to combine proper procedures with an efficient approach, to managing a job, and how to bill for the services they provided,
IICRC Odor Control Technician (OCT) Classes
The Odor Control Technician course covers olfaction and odor, odor sources, detection process, theory of odor control, equipment, chemical options and applications. The student will learn how to address odors caused from biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination, and mold, combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oil spills or volatile organic chemicals. (1 day course; 7 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks.)
Xactimate Training Class
Our Xactimate training class is designed for new Xactimate users. Students in our class will acquire the knowledge and skill to create estimates using a lot of different Xactimate tools.
Our students will be taught the best ways to set-up, dimension, scope, and delivery of professional estimates. This is all done while getting students for the Level 1 and 2 certification tests.
Lead Abatement Certification
Our lead abatement training provides information on lead-based paint abatement and regulatory guidelines for restoration technicians.A certified technician can perform all of the aspects that a lead worker can. The course focuses on important abatement procedures including site set up and preparation, contract planning, abatement implementation and record keeping. This course prepares you to apply your knowledge to the field, with hands on training and real world examples from certified instructors.
Asbestos Hazards Course Overview
In our intermediate class, you will learn about asbestos hazards, and Federal OSHA standards. This course focuses on offering basic training about the hazards of asbestos exposure on the work site. During our training, you will become familiar with the exposure risks, asbestos-related illnesses, testing and control, and respiratory protection.
Michigan Builders Training
Michigan Builders Training, LLC offers the 60 Hour Pre-License Training Course. Builders License 60 Hour Pre-License Course 60 Hour Course Total Tuition $850.00 This course is the State approved Residential Builders Licensure. You will learn all seven disciplines (42 hours of instruction) in addition to electives (18 hours of instruction) to fulfill the 60 hour State requirement. You will receive the application forms and information needed regarding the Residential Builders exam. You will receive 9 books, including the residential codebook. * No fees will be charged in addition to the tuition listed above Calendar: The school will have classes as posted on website or class advertising to meet 60 Hours class requirements. Programs are taught in modules; therefore classes are continually beginning. Classes are held daily 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.
In our class, you will learn about asbestos hazards including exposure and risk patterns in order to stop workplace accidents before they happen. You will be familiarized with OSHA policies and regulations for ensuring safety to the highest standard in the workplace. Once you have successfully completed our class, you will have the knowledge and understanding you need to encourage safety on your work sites with potential asbestos exposures situations.
