Any number of events in a building can generate soot and particulate contamination, the most well known of which are structural fires
and furnace malfunctions known as “puff backs”. The cleaning process can be frustrated by air currents moving this particulate
contamination from soiled to clean surfaces. An additional complication is that soot has extremely high surface area and can adsorb
strong odors. Unsoot #1 forms a protective coating that encapsulates these contaminants.
Unsoot #1 can also be combined with odor control agents to give this product additional odor control capability.
UNSOOT SEALER #1 – UNSMOKE 4/Gallon Case
Dilutable - Unsoot #1 can be diluted for economical yet full, effective coverage in large areas. Low solvent smell - Unsoot #1 has an extremely low solvent content that dissipates quickly. This is an important feature, because most customers don't like the strong residual solvent smells that other products tend to leave behind. Paintable - You can paint over Unsoot #1, which is very appealing for contractors. Advise customers to run a paint adhesion test for peel prevention in a small discreet area before they apply the product. Since Unsoot #1 is somewhat viscous, you can apply them in the same way that you apply paint. And once either one is in place, you can paint over it.
